How Random Is It?

This generator uses your browser's Web Crypto API (crypto.getRandomValues()) wherever available. That means each number is drawn from a cryptographically secure source – the same one used for generating encryption keys – and is suitable for:

  • Raffles, prize draws and competitions
  • Picking winners or selecting samples
  • Games and roleplay (dice rolls)
  • Statistics simulations

For lottery entries or any high-stakes draw, we recommend recording a screenshot and the timestamp for transparency.

Frequently Asked Questions

The generator uses your browser's built-in crypto.getRandomValues() API where available, which is cryptographically secure and suitable for raffles, prize draws and games. On very old browsers it falls back to Math.random(), which is pseudo-random but still statistically uniform.

Yes – tick the "Unique numbers only" box. The generator will ensure no number appears twice. Note that the count cannot exceed the size of the range (max − min + 1) when unique mode is on.

Set the minimum to 1, the maximum to your lottery's top number (e.g. 59 for UK Lotto), the count to the numbers drawn (e.g. 6), tick "Unique numbers" and tick "Sort ascending". Click Generate. Remember: lottery odds remain identical regardless of how numbers are chosen.

Yes – switch the mode to "Decimal" and set the number of decimal places (0 to 10). The minimum and maximum can be any real numbers.

Up to 10,000 numbers per generation to keep the page responsive. For larger batches, click Generate again – each run is independent.
