Essential OG Tags

These tags are required for optimal social sharing:

  • og:title - The title of your content
  • og:description - A brief description
  • og:image - URL to an image (1200x630px recommended)
  • og:url - The canonical URL
  • og:type - Type of content (website, article, etc.)

Facebook / LinkedIn
  • Recommended: 1200 x 630 pixels
  • Minimum: 600 x 315 pixels
  • Aspect ratio: 1.91:1
  • Max file size: 8MB
Twitter
  • Summary card: 144 x 144 pixels min
  • Large image: 300 x 157 pixels min
  • Max: 4096 x 4096 pixels
  • Max file size: 5MB
